I have not visited the site so I cannot comment on availability of
plain leathers. I do recall on the site Shel mentioned that there were
regular 'plain' leathers available.
As to the replacement around the memo holder - you use a sharp knife
to cut along the holder. The replacement leather does not go underneath the
holder. I thought I had mentioned this on my page. Sorry I was not so
clear. On one of the removals the piece under the top-side of the holder
came out. Another nicety is that the replacement is cut to match the curved
bottom portion of the holder. A nice fit all around. Of the two
installations there are just two places that may take advantage of trimming.
Nothing annoying though.
