Support: Sachtler tripod with RRS 55mm ballhead and Wimberley Sidekick.
Location: Lake Østensjøvannet. Small eutrophic lake in the 'burbs of
Eastern Oslo. Has its own wikipedia page in English, even.

How: I'm practicing movement and autofocus aiming. So basically I use
f/8, ISO 400, continuous AF and press the button until the buffer
fills up. :-) After one burst I note the start and end of the series.
I take many series and evaluate on the PC back home. Yesterday saw 160
exposures from about 20 series. In all, 43 shots had acceptable (or
better) focus. That's about one in four, which means I'm improving on
birds sitting on water. My goal is one in three before attempting
birds in flight. I may have a long way to go...
