I have the 10-20 and love it, at $700 I'd buy the Bigma if you don't want it,
could be just what I'm looking for.

Regards,

John

Subject: Anyone have experience with these lenses?

Sigma ...
.. 30mm f/1.4 EX DC Autofocus Lens for Pentax Digital SLR Cameras

.. 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX DG Autofocus Normal-Telephoto Zoom Lens for Pentax AF

.. 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC J Autofocus Super Wide Angle Zoom Lens for
Pentax Digital SLR Cameras

These appear to be in excellent condition used. Prices offered were
$350, $700, and $300

Actually, the third is moot, since I already bought it, and intend to
see how well it suits me this weekend. Checked it out on an MZ-S and
through the viewfinder it looks like it vignettes a LOT for film at
10mm. Didn't look that bad at 20mm.

Any other lenses I should look at?

I'm looking to replace a Tamron 28-200 that I grow more dissatisfied
with every time I use it, so anything from Tamron would have to be
SUPER-DUPER to overcome my previous experience with the brand.

I bought the lens second hand when I bought my *ist-D, just so I'd have
a lens and could play with the camera on the trip back home from where I
bought it. It was relegated to the spares bag as soon as I got home with it.

I'm thinking something in the 50-200 or 35-150 or ... but I do want it
to work with my film cameras.
