Maybe thats a better lens for possibly the same or less money? I dont know but it would be worth investigating, no? FWIW, There are other F4 or faster AF lenses out there by third parties too, some 60-300mm, some 75-300m some other 50/60/70/80 - 200/210/300mmm etc. There are lots of choices in F4 or faster long telezooms if you count the used market and everything ever made in that range. Its always been a popular range.
