Whereas they before were ultra quiet, and all leakages were just that - leakages through unofficial channels, they now leak out deliberately at the top showing their intentions. Eg. information that they will make a digital slr in due course; more Limited lenses; make a camera the owners would like to take to their graves; LX with AF etc. The latter cases are certainly an official reply to the long lasting "Flagship" rumor. We should keep in mind that 2002 is the 50th anniversary of the Asahiflex. It is important for Pentax and the whole Japanese camera industry being the first Japanese slr. I'm certain Pentax will commemorate this in one way another. Hopefully with a camera that you'll want to take to your grave that just might be an LX with AF.
