The autofocus speed seems to be about the same as the DA* 50-135,
which means better than DA or FA lenses without USM, but not as good
as I'd like.

I _really_ like the rendering from this lens. :-)
The scapular feather detail in the full-rez image is just insane.
Any comments on the auto-focus speed?
