Well, it was certainly louder than my home system can go. Except for
two covers, it was all their top hits. Love Mick Fleetwood as a
performance percussionist. Lindsey Buckingham is an accomplished
guitarist, though I'm not a fan of his "wall of sound" style,
preferring a more deliberate use of the instrument, like David
Gilmour of Pink Floyd. Stevie Nicks (Stephanie as Mick called her
after the encore) had a little more nasal sound than I'm used to
hearing. Might have had a bit of congestion.
First rock concert I ever saw was Fleetwood Mac - back in May of 1979
(the "Tusk" tour).
It was amazing (but of course, it was my FIRST ROCK CONCERT).
I've never thought of Lindsey as having a "wall of sound" style,
though..? perhaps his style has changed over the years?
