And yet Joe repeatedly asks the same or similar question, hoping that maybe his lens or adaptor will somehow grow a damn digital pass through or data pin.
I wonder how difficult it would be, once you know what the code would be (you know, 0's and 1's) for the focal lengths, to mount an external chip on the older lenses with a wrap around contact in the proper place on the mount that would send (once, continuously, whatever) the appropriate data to the camera.
