Rob,
Like I commented earlier, I definitely like the feel of the skins
over the original leatherettes. I will keep you posted on wear. The paper
that came with the skins said that no special cleaning or protecting from
water is necessary. I will reread the paper when I get home and post if it
is different.
The skins were attached to a 'plastic-backed' sheet. The adhesive
is on the skins. So it was a peel off the paper backing. There was a small
strip of paper on the ends to facilitate removal from the sheet. I did not
note the manufacturer sorry. I removed the paper at her house so I cannot
rummage through the garbage to find it. I believe it was 3M.
