Oh my gosh. I just saw the video. If the K7 video quality is anywhere near the quality just seen in this video--well, it'll leave me in a pickle for sure--that is, I might want the K7 after all.

I've been reading the threads on the K7. It looks like it will be a dandy-of-a-camera, but I wasn't feeling real strong camera-lust--some lust, to be sure, but not real strong (all those new lenses, on the other hand). I would like fast auto-focus and better ISO noise levels, but I *thought* I wouldn't really need video, and I really didn't want to pay the extra money for video. I have a little Canon video camcorder just for family and work--but the quality is pretty mediocre, but it suffices for straight recording--but, boy oh boy, the K7 would merge two pieces of equipment in one, and the quality would no doubt improve as well.

I understand the video Cotty has posted is made on the Canon, but it will be very interesting to see the video quality on the K7.

Well, Ms. K7, I'm very much looking forward to meeting you in North Carolina. If you wear your best dress, I'll wear my best dress ;-)

Cheers, Christine

P.S. Thanks for posting that Sir Cotty. Much appreciated.

I dare say that with the advent of HD video on the K7 we'll see a few of
you trying out your hand. Here's an example of a 5DmII with a Zeiss
50/1.4 at night to get you in the mood....
