Thanks Jack, I was on my way to a wildlife reserve when I spotted the event, only had the 300 and 16-50 with me so had to make do. A lot of the shots were of the upper body and heads of the birds, too close with the 300, so I thought I'd go for some BIF shots. Should have packed a 70-200/2.8 or better still a DA*200/2.8 if I had one.
