I have a copy that I've been very happy with on digital, (I also had one where the aspheric element degraded which was just painful on film or digital), There have been some complaints but I put it down to two phenomenon, firstly it's no longer a very wide to very short telephoto, but a normal to mid portrait length, and the degradation of the image as the rear aspheric element begins to separate which causes a softness in the images taken long before it's apparent when examining the lens itself.

I know this lens was well regarded in film era but what about its
digital performances?
Would it be worth chasing it?
What price would be acceptable for that lens ?

Thank you all.

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or
drinking; he can ruin himself with gambling. If he does he is certainly a damn
fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a
free man any more than a dog.
