Or a souvenier. For a while my T-shirts fell into two categories, those about racing, those about dancing. Usually momentos of specific events. I found that I preferred wearing my car related T-shirts to dance events, and dance T-shirts to car events. That way I found people who shared my unusual intersection of hobbies. I've found that wearing xkcd ( http://xkcd.com ) T-shirts to dances is a great way of finding which women are really cool, for particularly geeky values of cool. I don't have any photo related T-shirts yet, but wearing my camera generally works to show my interest in photography. That, and taking and posting pictures of various events. Though when you're as bad at remembering names as I am, giving people another reason to know my name leads for far more embarassing situations where they know my name and I don't know theirs. On the other hand, taking pictures of people that I'd like to know their name and posting them on facebook works pretty well. Mutual friends tag their photos so, in theory, I can go through my photos and see who is who. -- The fastest way to get your question answered on the net is to post the wrong answer.
