Stacking works. You can also test the camera. Put the lens cap & viewfinder blind on and take a series of long dark frame exposures (start at 5min and work up) that will give you an idea of how much noise & "amp glow" you'll have to contend with. > BTW - I didn't have a clue where Cue is so I Googled it. The group I was travelling with just stayed long enough for dinner at the loacl pub so I didn't get to have a good explore. Also we were chasing that thunder storm. But from what i saw it was a typical (for WA) gold mining town. Keep York in mind when you're over. It's only a couple of hours out of Perth and very historical.
