The cal fire plane flew directly over me about a second before it dropped the retardant on the fire about 200m away. My K20D took what seemed like forever to lock focus.
It's probably a good thing for my productivity that I don't have anything that'll convert K20 raw files at the office. I did appreciate, and exhaust the bigger buffer of the K20 over the K100. It also may have helped if I had ever used rapid fire mode before using it in the heat of battle, as it were. -- The first step is learning to take great photos, the second step is learning to throw away ones that are merely good.
