Thanks to everyone who looked at my little gallery of eroding buildings and whatnot.
Christine, glad you liked the shot of the school. You can call me anytime.
Ann, thanks for the kind words. I intend to get out of town at least once a week for the rest of the summer looking for more of this sort of thing. A lot of these old structures really are on their last legs, so to speak, and should be documented before they just fall down completely. Graydon, I didn't really have an intent when I shot the school picture. I just plunked my tripod down where I thought it should be and pushed the button.
Bruce, glad you liked a couple of them, thanks for looking.
High praise from the Listmeister. Thanks Doug.
Cotty, thanks for commenting, the school seems to be a likable image.
Dave, I can't comment on the D300 yet. Maybe next week. Apparently my K-7 is close to being in transit, and may be in my hands within the week. Brian, glad you like the shots. The tower is an oldish church steeple. I suspect they used whatever they had on hand as siding. Jack, thanks for commenting. I punched up the contrast and sharpness just for you.
Sorry Bob, I hope you survive. It's a church, BTW.

Thanks again for looking and commenting

William Robb
