I took my M8 with me into town today and was stopped by one of the door guards at a bookshop who wanted to know "what's so special about those cameras, and how do you pronounce it anyway?". He wants to get started in photography and had heard that Leica are the bes, but didn't know why. It's surprisingly difficult to explain when you're put on the spot like that. If I'd had my wits about me I could have referred him to KR.
