That's nice.

I remember seeing a rainbow over a lake while we sat in the car waiting for someone (it was very cold). I hurried out of the car with one of my cameras and took a few photos before I lost the opportunity. The rainbow stayed there so I got another couple of lenses and took some more photos.

Eventually I ended up with the full medium format kit out on the tripod. I must get around to printing a couple of those photos as I got a couple of nice ones.

I've done that sort of thing frequently... insurance shot, then settle in... however... in this case... (though this one stayed about 20 or 30 minutes..well... it slightly moved to the south over that time..)

My tripod was accesable, but it's fairly heavy and I would have had to lug it up two flights of stairs - the last set being a bit precipitous, and push open the door to the roof... I knew I couldnt do it physically alone
and no one else was around to help.

I just added two more shots , btw

IF you look closely, guys, at the second of these... you can see what I fear is some sort of problem with the sensor... dark round spot that I got rid of in a different frame... partly hidden by the "tin man" - it shows up strongly in some frames and isn't confined to one lens.
I'll upload a really obvious one later and ask for help.
