cubs fan -- better not look then, eh?

Folks might remember that last year I went to Wrigley Field to shoot outside the ballpark on one of the Cubs-White Sox Cross-town night games.

Well, this year, my husband & I took the Red Line down to Sox Park (I refuse to call it that other name)

what... " cellular field" doesn't resonate with you? ;-)

, and I shot some pics outside the stadium. Then we walked down to Halsted, found a place for some lunch & a beer, and watched the game. Sox fans should be happy with the Sox taking the series two games to one.

.....
Anyway, Sox Win! Sox Win! Cheers, Christine

enjoyed the tour... as for the "somethings NEVER change" I giggled at the lady in the hairnet!
lots of nice snaps and a real feel for the scene.

It sent me over to google to see if the building I lived in on Euclid between 71st and 72nd was still there - it appears to be.

Bryn Mawr school apparently survived (so named?) until 1999... my elementary school... since has a different
name...

I lived there, I think, from 1942 to 1944 ... maybe even late 1941... I know we moved out of the neighborhood
in 1945 before the end of the war.
