I don't fall into that bracket, I'm just someone who sees the camera as a
fun hobby item, who on the rare occasion, takes something worth keeping.

I came an hour close to ordering a new K20D recently; had I not found the
dishwasher had broken down that morning beyond economical repair, I would
now be the owner of one. So, with funds increasing towards a purchase once
more, the K-7 comes into sight.

I ran a roll of film through my LX last week. This is a camera which makes
me smile every time I've used it from the day I bought it. The *ist D is a
great camera and I've handled the K10D, but neither are in the LX league.

What I really want to know Doug, is if this new camera is really the nearest
to the thing I want; a digital LX? Any Pentax DSLR I buy will be a step up
from my camera, but does it have that extra something else, that you know
when you have it, but can't find the words easily for it.
