I cancelled my order for a 60-250 on Amazon last night, and
immediately went to B&H and ordered one. I received a confirmation
email within minutes. Today I received a confirmation of shipping 15
hours after the order (at 2:35 PM to be precise) with a notice that if
the order was packed and shipped on a legal holiday (which today is)
it would go out the next business day (tuesday). UPS shows a departure
scan at 11:27 PM (2:27 my time) in Maspeth, NY, (B&H warehouse). I
would expect it to be picked up early Tuesday. Scheduled for delivery
on Thursday the 9th.
IF the item you are referring to is a K-7, they will not notify you of
anything until it is in stock. Last night, it was not. But you could
pre-order and be charged for it last night.

notifying me that my order was delayed. Is this normal?
