Foreigners find the mundane endlessly fascinating. I had friends from
Germany visiting and one of the things they just had to photograph was
the line of newspaper vending machines at the bus stop because it was
/so/ /American/. Nothing special about it, though I have to admit that
I've actually shot pictures of it out of shear boredom, but still...

We have quite a similar box in a small town nearby. Perhaps I should
drive there and take a shot.
