Try again. Today I terminated my dial-up Internet provider ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) to use only my DSL Internet account (vze3whatever.verizon.net, alias [EMAIL PROTECTED]). Evidently my email client, Eudora Pro 5.0, had been retrieving the erols mail first, and then the Verizon mail. When Eudora couldn't connect to Erols' computer, it could not proceed to verizon.
I've now removed the Erols configuration from my Eudora. It all should work now; I had my daughter send me mail to vze... and paul.stregevsky from her Hotmail, and I received both messages.
