I heard that while you are shooting HD video with Canon 5D Mark II you
cannot change the aperture.
So, some people use lenses with the aperture rings from different
brands (like Cotty).
So, here is a question (or even two) for the happy K-7 owners:
1) is K-7 is capable of adjusting the aperture automatically
while video is being shot,
Yes. This is a custom option. The default setting is to shoot at a fixed
aperture, set before engaging the movie mode.
and
2) can one change the aperture manually from the body (as opposed
to the aperture ring on the lens)?
Nope.
Also, - what is equivalent exposure time of a video frame with K-7?
it shoots 30 FPS, so...
It is not that it is critical for me, but I am rather curious,
and so far couldn't find this in any description.
Thank you,
Igor
