Big thanks to William, Graydon, Jack, Brian, Bob W., Cotty, Mike, Steve, and Dave B., and:

Graydon: Well, I got those numbers from the guys, and I watched them lift one of the rods, and they struggled with it--seemed pretty darn heavy to me. The numbers I gave were approximate.

Bob W.: In a way #1 is choreographed, but it's by necessity is my guess--they have to move in synch.

Mike: Seems to be working now.

Big cheers, Christine

Hi Everyone:

Construction on the superstructure has finally begun--permits all sorted!
One of those rods weighs nearly a quarter of a ton, and the whole cage weighs about 1500 pounds. I have to say, I'm rather proud of #2--and check out that tattoo! Any boo-boos let me know ;-).
