Bill is one of my best buddies from University days in Santa Cruz. A
photographer, a mentor, a friend. We lost track of each other for 16
years, he found me again on the 'net in '99. I went to visit him for
Thanksgiving that year in North Carolina ... it was like no time had
passed at all. We are in touch today still, ten more years on.
I recently found this roll of Minox film and was experimenting with
scanning it by photographing the negatives with a macro setup. This
photo of Bill, walking down a path to do the photography he loves,
embodies him as I always see him: wry smile, camera, tripod, and
sharp eyes. Thanks Bill!
