I get an RSS feed from Apple on Aperture Downloads. It's 95% wanting
you to look at the next ridiculously expensive add on or plug-in, but
it's also the official feed for Aperture Upgrades.

Subject: OT: Aperture Update (sort of)
Apple today released an chunk of code said to improve the
operability of all of
it's "Pro" software.
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/application_updates/prokit50.html
I can only assume it puts some patches in the system and/or
applications that
correct a few bugs that we've all been complaining about for more
than a year.
Here, here! Occasionally the Inspector's sliders refuse to not be
grayed out when moving through selects. It's annoying.
Is this an auto update? I haven't seen it.

There is no off position to the genius switch.
Genius can, however, be observed as insanity.
