Smudge were at the centre of a fine circle of indie bands in the 90s. Funny, unpretentious and a guarantee good night each time they played. They've reformed again, and its like I'm yanked back in time 15 years. Tom, Adam, and Alison, especially Alison, seem to be ageless.
Used the DA*55 for the first time at a gig. I think I like this SDM contraption. It certainly hunted less than the 77mm (which I use mostly in MF anyway).
