Do contrast and sharpness affect the RAW files?

But I set the exposure manually to the same settings as his.  

That does explain why his said ev0 and mine 0.2.

RAW in the camera, processed in light room. 

To aid metering I set the custom white balance in the camera before
shooting.

I set the exposure on his camera, came up with the base exposure:

ISO 800, 1 second f/2.8

Shot, 3frames bracketing 2/3 stop.
Set ISO 1600 1/2 second, then ISO 3200 1/4 second.

Put the lens on my camera, put my camera on the tripod and repeated.
