As soon as the istD came out in 2003, I felt that 67 users would switch
early so I immediately sold
all my 67 kit stuff at the peak prices, within 2-3 years the prices
had essentially collapsed. That was one of those rare cases
where I guessed right and sold off at the right time.
This economic downturn of 2008 probably hasn't helped
the 67 situation much either. Almost all used pentax gear
is down somewhat from 18 months ago, but film related gear
has really fallen off the cliff. Except for large and ultra
large formats, film is nearly dead by now. Small and medium format film
cameras
and lenses only good for those film cameras are difficult
to sell at any price at this point.
