Just for the record, I do have a Ph.D. in astrophysics, with experience characterizing the performance of a then-new 48 megapixel mosaic CCD camera for the 200-inch Hale Telescope at Palomar Observatory, and adapting an image-processing pipeline for images from that instrument. I do, however, admit to minimal experience concerning night photography with DSLRs. I find their lack of cryogens... disturbing. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
