You could try exporting from Lightroom as full size jpegs. Jalbum may resize them faster than making Lightroom do a two step process. Just a suggestion. That's the way I do it, 'cause my SO wants the full size jpegs to share w/family and friends on Snapfish. I haven't compared the times to see which way is faster.
Export them as a Lightroom website (you get to specify how big) and then extract the files from the directory that Lightroom makes for it?
