I use a K-mount 2x converter on my 300mm screwmount lens. It's a crappy lens and a crappy TC (both non-Pentax) and I get a lot of flare. I also have to deal without an auto-diaphram.
Here are several pictures taken with that lens/tc combo on my LX: http://photography.skofteland.net/animals/animal04.htm http://photography.skofteland.net/animals/animal03.htm http://photography.skofteland.net/animals/animal07.htm The fuzziness is caused by the CrappyScan(tm) brand scanner I used to use and not the lens/tc combo. The same slides scanned on the HP PhotoSmart are tack-sharp. Or would that be messing with the optical path in an unexpected or undesired way? I'd like to be able to buy one set of good TCs and use them on my screwmount and K-mount lenses. > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
