Closing at Port Huron/Sarnia is actually the quickest way, because I'm 25 miles north of the Windosor/Detroit tunnel. I worked in Toronto for a month or so about seven or eight years ago and went home by car every weekend. It's an easy drive.

Dave- how long's the drive from Toronto to Windsor to Detroit?

I don't do the Windsor/Detroit crossing, i just hate that one. I would
cross at Sarnia/Port Huron.
Even then it would be around 4-41/2 hours.
