Fred - I've had 3 LX CLA'd by Pentax USA in Colorado. $125-150, varies
according to the details of what is needed. On my last one, last spring, the
note that came back with the camera said something about such-and-such
assembly not being available. I can't find the paper, I don't recall the
precise part, but it relates to the metering circuit. What they didn't do
(for lack of parts) that I had asked for was to upgrade the meter switch so
that the meter would activate via the finder-release button as happens on
most LX. Other than that, my experience has been very positive with them.

By the way, if you would like a back-up while yours are in the shop, note
that that older one of mine is still up for sale.
