Fred - I've had 3 LX CLA'd by Pentax USA in Colorado. $125-150, varies according to the details of what is needed. On my last one, last spring, the note that came back with the camera said something about such-and-such assembly not being available. I can't find the paper, I don't recall the precise part, but it relates to the metering circuit. What they didn't do (for lack of parts) that I had asked for was to upgrade the meter switch so that the meter would activate via the finder-release button as happens on most LX. Other than that, my experience has been very positive with them.
By the way, if you would like a back-up while yours are in the shop, note that that older one of mine is still up for sale.
