I don't think you can assign rights legally without compensation. I
don;t see where they compensate you in any fashion. You cannot
simply give your rights away. That's accepted legal principal. This
wouldn;t stand up in any court I know of. In fact taking someone to
court on this would probably offend the judge and EBC would probably
end up regreting the decision, you don't want to offend a judge.
Interesting take.
You agree to abide by their rules when you register with the intention
of breaking the rules afterwards and taking them to court as well?
This sounds kinda fraudulent to me.
But then, I don't make agreements that i don't intend to abide by, I
just walk away if i think the terms are abusive.
And why can't a person give their rights away? It's their rights,
surely they can do with them what they want.

Simple tort law William, a valid contract requires a meeting of the
mind's. There can be no meeting of the minds here. I wasn't advocating
taking them to court. Their "contract" cannot stand up. I was
expecting them to threaten court action when I ignored their "contract"
at which time I'd have a real lawyer explain the difficulty to them. I
doubt after they consulted their own lawyer it would get that far.

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or
drinking; he can ruin himself with gambling. If he does he is certainly a damn
fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a
free man any more than a dog.
