So to pick up where my previous narrative left off. While I was pretty
happy with the composition of the last image, (with the unwitting help
of three innocent bystanders), I wasn't particularly happy with the
exposure. It was a bit under exposed. So I returned to the beach about
a half hour later hoping the chairs would still be there and still be
unoccupied. They were and I decided to get a bit closer. Taking a few
different exposures I captured this, a bit over exposed...
BTW the round thing the girl is holding isn't a ball it's a straw hat,
unfortunately the detail gets lost in the web sized image.

Equipment: Pentax K20D w/vmc Vivitar Series 1 35-85mm f2.8 varifocus
Notes: Minor crop, about 5-10% to eliminate a couple of distracting
figures near the left edge and a couple of distracting boats too close
to the top edge of the image.

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or
drinking; he can ruin himself with gambling. If he does he is certainly a damn
fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a
free man any more than a dog.
