I've been working on putting together my own photo book on Blurb over the past few weeks (http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/837822/) and while arranging to buy an ISBN for it I decided to put up the money to get one for the PDML Photo Annual as well. It's ISBN 978-1-61623-040-1
The number obviously won't appear on any of the books sold through Blurb, and due to their awkward system, I can't add it to the existing book without uploading it as a "new" book, which will have a new URL and thus break the links at all the web sites that have linked to it :( But I'll be printing it on stickers to put on all the books that I sell through my web site and at events like GFM. (Next year's book will, of course, have an ISBN right from the word go.) Anyway, it will show up in the official ISBN databases from now on (or at least within a couple of weeks) so you can now all tell people you're published in book 978-1-61623-040-1.
