Interesting notion, Christine. I've been thinking about what I can do
in an online training series.

The wooden "mallets" (I don't know what the Tibetans call them) are
used to 'voice' the bells: you don't strike them, you rub the "mallet"
around the outside which sets up a resonant vibration and causes the
bell to sing. The sound is truly beautiful, particularly when you have
a couple of the bells with compatible tones: it fills an audio space
with little sense of direction.

It would be great to have a couple of PDMLers there. Last workshop I
had three folks I knew from other photo forums/groups sign up, it was
a kick. :-)
