Not true. The email was sent directly to precisely those individuals
who had already expressed an interest in the UK meet, and to only those
individuals. But it was also sent to the PDML list at the usual address
([email protected]).
They were cc'd to the PDML. Since I didn't have that filter enabled, they
hit my inbox rather than my PDML box.
No biggie, a 15 second adjustment to my mail filter solved it.
I don't really think this is something to get twisted up about.
