It's been a few weeks since the 2009 photowalk and I'm still finding time to edit the images. I ran several of the photos through Animoto.com and made this short video that might give you a feel for the Omaha, Nebraska group's day.
All but three of the images were shot with the K20, the DA21, DA70 and the 10-17 zoom. The three oddballs were shot with my iPhone. Given the K7 has video, maybe we'll start to see some real VESOs shot with a Pentax. This is just a bunch of stills run through Animoto's video generator. I'll post a few of the shots another time. Length: 2 min 15 sec. Warning! Turn off your speakers if you don't want to hear the music. <http://www.georgesphotos.net/Photography/2009-Omaha-Photowalk-Video/9534392_K8Thu/1/640898523_6mU5R> A little technical info - these were shot as raw, auto-converted to jpg, reduced to fit in an 800 pixel square, saved at image quality 8, run through animoto, uploaded to Smugmug and run though their automatic transcoder. So, don't get excited about image quality, just enjoy the show.
