I got a quote for the 75mm f/2.8; I can almost afford it ;) Its a little above NZD2,500. I reckon I could get it for about NZ$2,000 from B&H but I'd rather get it locally. The only thing I've seen about this lens that disappoints me is that it looks like an A-series postage-stamp-format lens, with the text printed on the front of the focussing ring. I find that ugly and would much rather have it printed on the metal bit surrounding the front element like non-A manual focus glass. At least it doesn't look like an FA lens; they look worse (with some exceptions). Boy am I picky... I don't want one... I don't need one... BTW is the hood included? Cheers, - Dave David A.
