Hi. Yes it was a great day and nice to meet you. I wasn't at my home until midnight last night after a long sunday with lot of walking. I walked from Devonport House, around Greenwich Hospital, to Canary Wharf, took the sub to London Bridge, walked to Gherkin and back, sub to Embankment, tried London Eye and got some 30 sec. exposures with a tripod in the crowd and finally walked to Victoria Station. A lot of walking :-)
I did like this picture, http://www.mitch.myzen.co.uk/PDML/slides/_IGP0818.html . It remind me of how difficult it is to look at small details when you are at new place as a tourist. Next time I should probably leave my wide angles at home and only take a 35mm :-) Stig Vidar Hovland ________________________________________ Emne: London PDML >Hi all. >It was a fantastic day in Greenwich and it was really good to meet Jostein, >Stig and John for the first time and renew acquaintance with Bob. >Karin also enjoyed meeting everyone later for a drink, chat and Indian meal >after her dose of retail therapy in Canary Wharf with our daughter. >Here's a gallery - nothing more from the Blonde Wall I'm afraid. >http://www.mitch.myzen.co.uk/PDML/ >K7, DA* 16-50 2.8 and DA* 50-135 2.8. >Thanks to everyone for getting together and particularly to Bob for showing >us round. >Chris and Karin -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
