colors sort of look drab after exporting through "zoomify". They're
a bit snappier in the real image. I didn't spend a lot of time
trying to figure out why...

That's pretty impressive, Charles. I zoomed all the way in and
wandered around the image and it's pretty darned clear all over.
Seemed softer in the front-left corner to me though--those kids there
seem slightly blurred compared to their counterparts over on the rhs.
Just curious: what's the shutter/aperture?
F6.3... not sure where the focus point is, though. 1/60th second exposure.

At 1/60th sec I'd guess that lateral sway in the cherry picker way up
where you were would not have been removed by the SR logic. I'm betting
that SR is designed for higher frequency motions more typical of human
arms rather than sub-hertz pendulum motion. Probably need to use 1/250th
or faster if you can get the light. I understand you were restricted by
it being heavily overcast this time around.
Anyway I really like your results.
