Whar are your favorite third party lenses (non pentax)
that you all like to use on your Pentax DSLR/SLR?
I personally have taken a liking to and using a few of the Tamron SP
adaptall2 lenses and
some Tokina AT-X series lenses with nice results. That's
about it for me. The vast majority of my weapons are still
the real deal K/M/A SMC Pentax lenses though.
My two workhorses from back unto *ist-D days are the Tokina AT-X 287 AF
Pro (28-70 f/2.8) and the Tokina AT-X 828 AF PRO (80-200 f/2.8)
I also have a Sigma APO 300mm F2.8 EX. Last one available in Pentax
mount before they went to the new design.
The only autofocus Pentax lens I have is the 18-35 FAJ, which seems to
have a sloppy build. The one Tamron lens I have does not impress me at
all; another sloppy build.
I use my Pentax manual focus A lenses with the *ist-D and K-10D,
particularly the A 100/2.8 Macro.
And, I have the three Sigma lenses I bought last summer, but don't have
enough experience with them yet to rate them.
