Errm, no.   That's not what Godwin's Law says.

Strictly speaking, it's exactly what Godwin's Law says, that the longer
a thread, the more likely someone will make a comparison involving Hitler/Nazis.

"As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison
involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."


Godwin's Law itself says nothing about a thread being over at that
point, that's a usenet tradition.
