Yes, I really wanted to take Portland at night. I drove by that section at night and went "Wow!" But the night I was there I was too tired and didn't know where to go for a shot of that area. Later I researched the place for the shot, but then when I drove by it again, it was in bright sunlight. <shrug> So it's a ordinary travel pic of Portland. But sometimes I like having some ordinary travel pics too. The ferry in Washington I had more time for and I tracked it with photos from a dock to the horizon.
