Nick, Seems that someone on the list has one. Perhaps he will chime in. I seem to remember him saying that the unit out of the box is poorly put together and he had many hardware problems with it. Eventually, he did some of his own modifications and now it is working quite well. I don't know if it applies to the new units or not.
I agree that the ability to batch scan an entire roll is a great feature. I chose the one I have partly due to the ability to batch scan. Mine will only scan 6 at a time. The Kodak unit also has pretty good specs.
