Hello, I'm seriously thinking about buying the Kodak Scanner RFS 3600 only because they are offering the free film with it (http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/products/scanners/rfs3600/offer. jhtml).
But my dilemma is that the offer is only good on scanners purchased between May and December of 2001. Is there anything I can do to get the special offer if I purchase one? Someone is selling a NIB scanner on Ebay and I just emailed the person selling it if they have the original receipt (within that time period) assuming they haven't claimed the rebate yet. But then again, that could be why they bought the scanner in the first place (get the free film, use the scanner to scan all their film, then sell it on ebay for a little less than what you paid for it).
