The shutter timing is often wrong on the high speeds on old mechanical cameras.�� You can tell easily if it is working reasonably.�� Open the back,��hold the camera up to a bright light, and set it to 1/500.�� When the shutter goes off,� what you should see is a full circle (or a full rectangle, if no lens is mounted) of light, not one side blanked out.����
